The “Lomo Felipe” comprises a whole hill: to the west it lowers towards the sea, to the north it descends into a valley full of almond trees and to the south it is bordered by the protected nature reserve Barranco Jurado. It is a paradise for relaxation, where life happens in consonance with nature. It is also a paradise for birds: canaries, grajas, hawks and owls are familiar visitors.
Due to its ideal location on the west side of the island, Finca Lomo Felipe is not only gifted with an especially mild and sunny climate but also is the perfect spot to watch the magical display of colour created each evening with the sunsets. The mountain range in the center of the island, that stretches from north to south, acts like a weather shield. Trade winds continuously bring clouds to the island, which are stopped by the mountains in the east of the island and supply the pine and chestnut forests with humidity.
Going for a walk around Finca Lomo Felipe provides you with a myriad of impressions: the variety of forms in the cactus and palm garden, exotic fruits in the orchard, the vegetable garden with its antique water storage system, the valley full of almond trees that becomes a blooming fairytale setting during spring, the majestic and towering pine trees and the untouched natural landscape with its variety of succulents and milkweed plants.
The pool is the heart of the lavish spa area. It is surrounded by various seating and lounging options: sun loungers with panorama sea views, a double sun bed with canopy, a seating area to chill by the pool, a covered dining terrace with barbecue and sun loungers for a refreshing siesta in the shadow of the palm trees.
Water wellness: the 12 meter long pool is perfectly suited for swimming and splashing all day long. For a more sporty option, you can turn on the counter-current swimming system. In order to secure enjoyable water temperatures at all times, the pool is equipped with a solar heating system as well as an electric heating system, which can be booked for an extra fee. In addition, the pool can be closed with a heat retention pool cover. A massage jet and an outdoor shower complete the wellness experience in and around the pool.
The large tennis court with sand-filled artificial grass is fit for tournaments and suitable for both singles and doubles. The floodlights allow for unforgettable tennis matches under the sparkling night sky.
